With the rise of video websites like TikTok and YouTube, running a website has become increasingly challenging.
For website owners, saving costs has become necessary. This is especially true for webmasters who manage multiple websites, as reducing the cost of each domain can result in significant savings in the long run.
Recently, Vultrt has been planning to purchase a batch of new domain names but has been hesitant due to the lack of promotional offers.
However, they recently came across NameCheap’s New Year promotions, which include discounts on domains, business email, SSL certificates, and virtual hosting.
Let’s take a look at the specific promotions:
Domain Promotions:
Newly registered domains do not require any discount codes. Simply add them to your shopping cart during the current promotion. The prices for .COM domains are around $9, .NET domains around $11, and .ORG domains around $7. While the discounts are not significant, they offer a slight reduction in cost.
Virtual Hosting:
NameCheap’s virtual hosting may have slower speeds in certain regions but offers faster performance in Europe and North America. If you have a need for it, you can purchase it for approximately $18 per year.
Business Email:
The Business Email service starts with the Professional Email Pro plan, which includes 3 users and costs around $30 per year. Unfortunately, individual users cannot participate in the promotional offers and will have to purchase at the regular price, which is approximately $18 per year.
SSL Certificates:
I personally prefer NameCheap’s SSL certificates. The PositiveSSL certificate, suitable for a single domain, is discounted to around $6 per year. However, if you choose a multi-year package, you will need to activate it annually, as is the case with most certificates.
